    Game Prelauncher Concept

Windows operating system launches a mass of continuously running resident user applications and services. The majority of those are not used when user is playing a game; therefore, they can be harmlessly turned off, releasing the resources they occupy to the game. That simple concept is laid in the foundation of Game Prelauncher, and it demonstrates an effective practical result.
Every running application actively consumes RAM resources, cutting the amount of free memory available to other applications, as well as CPU resources; plus, periodically it addresses to files on the hard drive. The more applications you've got running, the less resources you've got left for other tasks — that's an obvious fact.

    Game Prelauncher Features

Game Prelauncher optimizes your system for gaming sessions by automatically disabling unnecessary startup programs, services, Explorer Shell, registered DLLs, sound themes and other Windows components; on average about 120 - 160 processes, depending on your system. You can create individual profiles for each game and also specify additional programs that you want to launch along with the game to make sure that these remain enabled.
Once you are ready to play a game, simply click on the provided shortcut and Game Prelauncher will restart your computer in optimized gaming mode and automatically launch the game (and any other applications) you configured in the profile. After your gaming session, you can simply restart your computer into normal mode with the click of a button.
The program does not affect the quality of the graphics in the game (does not impair it); the graphics remains the way it is specified in user's preferences. The utility has an intuitive user interface.

    Features:

  • Disable programs from Run sections from HKCU and HKLM registry keys (and other startup sections)
  • Disable programs from the Startup folder
  • Disable most Windows services (~ 90-92%), except for necessary
  • Disable the current shell ( Explorer, Aston, Litestep etc.)
  • Ability to disable selected drivers
  • Disable sound themes
  • Unload unused libraries (DLLs)
  • Ability to disable programs, reboot and run the game with a single click (shortcut)
  • Simple and safe
  • Support for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, including x64 editions
  •

    Result:

Unlike other optimizers (most of them are just a fake), Game Prelauncher does not promise 100% acceleration, because it is not possible without the installation of more powerful hardware. But can increase performance by about 20% - 40% for the average system.

The visual result is reduction of jerks in a game, faster loading, increasing frame rate (frames per second) by +8 - 15.

  • Disable about 110 - 150 processes, including services
  • Release about 150 and more megabytes of memory (RAM), depending on workload of your computer
  • Reduce memory fragmentation
  • Reduce the workload of the CPU and a file system
  • Increase FPS (frames per second)
  • Smoother, more responsive gameplay

  • Differences from other optimizers

Game Prelauncher compares favorably with other optimizers primarily for its effective results. Unlike the solutions meant to free up the memory, GP eliminates rather causes than consequences. In this case, causes are the running programs, and consequences are the memory they occupy, memory fragmentation, CPU resources and hard drive usage. No running programs — no such consequences.
Unlike the solutions that disable another programs, GP can disable everything that can be disabled: startup applications and services, registered dlls, even Explorer Shell (Start menu, desktop, tray), sound themes etc — leaving only necessary processes.
Now Game Prelauncher is the best solution to optimize games on low\middle-end PCs and laptops.
